每逢春夏之際，三峽鳶山桐花盛開、繁花似雪，交通便捷優勢加上老街商圈，晉身為新北市近郊熱門賞桐景點，23日三峽桐花祭起跑，擠入不少遊客一睹絕美「五月雪」景緻，入夜後也有機會看到火金姑飛舞空中，白天、夜晚各有風味！

新北市客家桐花季以土城為主要活動，但三峽桐花也絲毫不遜色，沿著步道二側種有一大片油桐樹，林蔭茂密，走來舒適怡人，沿途也會看見偌大的「光復紀念鐘」，走到山頂後，三峽美景盡收眼底。

農業局指出，除土城、三峽外，新北市現有中和、三峽、瑞芳、樹林、三芝、石碇、鶯歌、汐止、平溪、林口等地，可看見處處「桐」跡，其中以林口新林步道為最隱密，三芝則是春季賞櫻，春夏之際賞桐，夏季賞荷，花季接力，美不勝收。

此外，三峽鳶山白天賞桐花，晚上則有機會賞螢，一睹「綠色精靈」飛舞空中的奇景，農業局也說，每年4月底至6月初為賞螢好時機，鳶山為三峽近郊步道，生態池、流螢小徑等生態豐富，以黃緣螢 、黑翅螢、擬紋螢等20幾種最常見。

農業局也說，新北市現有52處賞螢祕境，如土城桐花公園、新店屈池、新店和美山步道、石碇雲海國小等地，今年則有貢寮「龍岡社區」梯田賞螢的一日遊，採桂竹筍、田邊野餐、夜遊賞螢，也讓龍岡社區知名度大開。
